Glasgow, Scotland  The Open Repositories Steering Committee seeks Expressions of Interest (EoI) from candidate host organizations for the 2018 and 2019 Open Repositories Annual Conference series. The call is issued for two years this time to enable better planning ahead of the conferences and to secure a good geographical distribution over time. Proposals from all geographic areas will be given consideration.

Oxford, England  Neil Jeffries, Oxford University, and Tom Cramer, Stanford University, from the Fedora team will hold an informal gathering joined by other Fedora community members, at The King's Arms Pub (just next to Wadham College and the Weston Library in Oxford, England) on July 5 from 5-7 PM, prior to the Jisc and CNI Conference welcome reception.

The Linked Library Data Interest Group will hold a session at the American Library Association Annual Conference from 8:30-10:00AM, this Saturday, June 25, 2016 in W208 at Orange County Convention Center (OCCC).

Michael Conlon, PhD, VIVO Project Director and Emeritus Faculty, University of Florida, will present "OpenVIVO: a hosted platform for representing scholarly work".

From the VIVO 2016 Conference organizers, to be held In Denver, CO August 17-19

The VIVO 2016 Planning Committee is excited to announce two invited speakers! We’re looking forward to their talks, and we’re thrilled that, in addition to their invited sessions, both Dr. Ruben Verborgh and Dr. Pedro Szekely will be hosting half-day Workshops on August 17th.
