The April 15-18 ILIDE (Innovative Library in Digital Era) International Conference in Jasna, Slovakia is open for registration. This International conference attracts librarians from all over the world. The aim of the Innovative Library in Digital Era Conference is to present visionary and original ideas based on the extensive experience of the participating experts and institutions.

Winchester, MA  Today SPARC issued a statement calling for the elimination of embargo periods in making research articles openly available to avoid curtailing scientific progress and stifling innovation in delivering the benefits of research back to the public.

Winchester, MA  COAR (Coalition of Open Access Repositories) Executive Director Alicia Lopez Medina recently conducted a video interview with DuraSpace CEO Michele Kimpton to learn more about DuraCloud, and plans for DSpace and Fedora development in the next year and over the next three years.
